The Company was informed on 7 January 2011 that its substantial shareholder, Mackenzie Cundill Investment Management Ltd (MCIM), the investment manager holding shares in Haw Par Corporation Ltd for Mackenzie Cundill Value Fund, Mackenzie Cundill Value Class Fund, IG Mackenzie Cundill Global Value Fund and IG Mackenzie Cundill Global Value Corp. has been merged into Mackenzie Financial Corporation (MFC) as a result of an internal organization. MFC has assumed all the rights and interests of MCIM and the interest in the shareholdings held in Haw Par Corporation is now vested in MFC.
