Directors are appointed by way of formal letters of appointment which set out their duties and obligations. The Company has
an orientation programme for newly appointed directors. The programme is tailored according to the profile and experience
of new directors. It includes training in areas such as operational knowledge or accounting updates, duties as directors and
how to discharge those duties as well as meetings with key personnel to understand the Group’s businesses, governance
practices, strategic plans and objectives. Site visits are conducted as needed. The Company arranges and funds the training
of directors, if needed. Directors are continuously updated on developments in the regulatory and business environment
affecting the Group.
